Apollo Reminders for Parents

Hello Apollo Families!
We are off to a great start and appreciate your partnership in making this a successful school year. Here are a few important reminders:

📱 Cell Phone Policy
As students become more familiar with their schedules, we will begin enforcing our cell phone policy more consistently. Cell phones must be turned off and put away for the entire school day. If a student violates the policy, the phone will be confiscated, and a parent or guardian must pick it up from the front office.

👕 Dress Code Reminder
Clarification on some things...Students are welcome to wear:

• Jeans and jean shorts (no rips or holes)
• College shirts
• Apollo spirit wear

🏈 Fall Sports Are Starting!
Before participating in tryouts or practice, students must have a completed athletic packet and a current sports physical signed by a physician.
Tryout & Practice Dates:

• Co-Ed Volleyball: August 7–13
• Co-Ed Flag Football: August 10–11
• Cross Country: No tryouts! Any interested student may join. There will be a brief student meeting at school on Friday, with practices beginning Monday, August 10.

📅 Mandatory Parent Meeting
Parents of students who make a team are required to attend a meeting on Thursday, August 13, at 5:00 p.m. to review team expectations.

🏫 Open House & Title I Meeting – August 13 6-7 p.m.
We invite all Apollo families to join us for our Open House and Title I Meeting on August 13. This is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers, learn about classroom expectations, and get a preview of what students will be learning this semester.
